Did you know that there are over 50 million adults in the United States that are living with a physical or mental disability? Many of them were born with that disability. The following are some resources available to assist both the person with disabilities and their families and caregivers.
The National Council on Independent Living advances independent living and the rights of people with disabilities. NCIL envisions a world in which people with disabilities are valued equally and participate fully.
