“I choose not to place “Dis”, in my ability” ~ Robert M. Hansel

Recent estimates in the United States show that about 1 in 6 or about 15% of children aged 3-17 have one or more developmental disabilties. Developmental disabilities are a group of conditions due to an impairment in physical, learning, language, or behavioral areas. These conditions begin during the developmental period, may impact day-to-day functioning, and usually last throughout the person’s lifetime.
